FITCHBURG, Mass. – Two Rams rewrote their personal-best as Suffolk women's indoor track & field participated at the Jim Sheehan Invite at Fitchburg State Friday.
RAMS RUNNERS
- Olivia Coyne (14.25) and Aida Bella (14.39) were featured in the 100.
- The twosome of Coyne (29.09) and Bellal (30.45) made a half lap around the track in the 200 as well.
- Maria Gallant clocked a 3:30.11 in the 800.
- Megan Dunn locked up 16th in the 1500 with a personal-best time of 5:22.72. Gallant (7:05.95) competed in the event as well.
JUMPERS JIST
- Evelyne Smith finished fourth in the pole vault as she cleared 2.60 meters, while Coyne was four spots behind her teammate with a 2.30-meter performance.
- Evelyn Lansing produced a 16th-place showing in the long jump with a 4.56-meter performance.
FIELDERS FACTS
- Hannah Laderoute heaved the javelin 24.70 meters to take 14th.
- Laderoute's 29.72-meter performance in the discus was good for 10th. Divinety Johnson was seven spots behind with a 27.30-meter effort.
- Laderoute (33.22) and Johnson (32.20) finished 12th and 15th, respectively, in the hammer throw.
RAMS RECORDS
- Dunn (1500) and Laderoute (discus) rewrote personal-best in their respective events.

Suffolk is set to take its talents to the Silfen Invite next weekend, April 10-11, at the Silfen Track in New London, Connecticut.
