AZUSA, Calif. – Sofia Moukaddem of the Suffolk women's outdoor track & field team took her talents to the West Coast to compete and did not disappointed as she won the 10k at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Cougar Stadium.  

The Rams' junior paced the 28-runner field and finished the event in 35:20.76 to be the first to cross the tape at a meet that features Olympians and competition from every NCAA division.

The Weston Massachusetts' native's time currently sits 11th in NCAA Division III this season and ranked as the 12th fastest outdoor time a year ago.  

Moukaddem jet sets back to the Bay State on a red eye to prep for another meet this weekend, MIT's Sean Collier Invitational April 17-18.
