Denelle Competes in High Jump at New Englands

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Averie Denelle of the Suffolk women's outdoor track & field represented the Rams at the New England Division III Outdoor Championships at Blake Track at Springfield College Saturday.
Denelle, a sophomore from Franklin, Massachusetts, competed in the high jump for the second straight season. A year ago, she became the first member of the program to earn a bid to regionals in the event and added more clout to her resume with a repeat showing. She cleared 1.52 meters to take 14th in the field of 18.
Suffolk's outdoor season continues next week with a handful of Rams aiming to punch their tickets to nationals.
