Over 200 student-athletes comprised Suffolk Athletics’ 13 varsity teams and now Ram Nation has the chance to get the whole picture of the 2015-16 year and the Rams successes in competition, the classroom and the community.
The GNAC has announced the names of 865 student-athletes – including 54 from Suffolk – who have been named to the 2015-16 Academic All-GNAC Team. The 54 Rams represent the second most all-time for the blue-and-gold and is just two individuals shy of the record (56) since the inaugural team in 2008.
Suffolk athletics saw some memorable milestones, postseason peaks, record setting moments, honors and more over the 2015-16 seasons. Now is the time to pit the best of the best against one another in a bracket-style competition to see what Ram Nation dubs as the Top Moment of the Year.
A total of 144 Suffolk University student-athletes have earned a spot on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in the 2016 Spring Quarter. To make the Director’s Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.0 and pass at least 12 quarter units.
The 2016 Rams Reflect is the first in a series of annual collections. Senior captains and representatives of Suffolk teams have been invited to contribute viewpoints based on personal experience from both their senior seasons and full varsity careers at Suffolk.

The Suffolk University Athletics Department is proud to announce the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll of the 2015 Fall Semester. 206 student-athletes were enrolled in full-time classes this fall and 146 achieve a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. Overall, the department maintained a 3.19 GPA average on the semester between its 13 varsity intercollegiate teams.
Caitlyn Mockler of the Suffolk volleyball team earned a spot on the GNAC All-Sportmanship team, the league office announced Tuesday.
The Suffolk volleyball team completed its 2015 season Thursday night with a thrilling 3-2 victory at Smith. The win came by set scores of 25-18, 19-25, 14-25, 25-23 and 15-12.

The Suffolk volleyball team suffered a straight set decision in its GNAC regular season finale Tuesday night, falling at Johnson & Wales at the Wildcat Center. The defeat came by set scores of 25-17, 25-13 and 25-20.
Coming off a 2-1 week, the Suffolk volleyball team heads to Providence Tuesday to wrap up GNAC action at Johnson & Wales. First serve between the Rams and the Wildcats is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Suffolk women’s volleyball team split its home series final in Senior Day action at Regan Gymnasium Saturday as the Rams dropped straight sets to Emmanuel, before rebounding with a sweep of Albertus Magnus.
The Suffolk volleyball team will take the floor at Regan Gymnasium one final time in 2015 as the Rams host Emmanuel and Albertus Magnus in #RamNationWhiteOut and Senior Day Saturday.
