Meg Kerek notched career bests Saturday afternoon, but the rookie’s career day would not be enough as Suffolk volleyball dropped a straight set decision to Framingham State at Saint Joseph’s (Maine)’s Harold Alfond Center. The non-conference setback came by set scores 25-6, 25-20 and 25-5.

For the first time this season, the Suffolk volleyball team put together a straight set victory as the Rams swept Pine Manor Tuesday night inside Regan Gymnasium. Suffolk pushed its win streak to four thanks to set scores 25-17, 25-17 and 25-18.

Volleyball Set for Smith Invitational

Suffolk volleyball remains on the road over the weekend as the Rams venture to Northampton, Massachusetts, for the 2017 Smith College Invitational. The two day event pits Suffolk against Gallaudet, Mt. St. Vincent and Western New England. The Rams open action Friday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. versus Gallaudet and will face the Dolphins and Golden Bears Saturday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
