"Looking forward to this year's schedule," Blanchard said. "We're playing a few teams we haven't played in a while, or ever. Our non-conference calendar should hopefully get use ready for a rigorous CNE schedule."

The 29th year of Suffolk volleyball opens at the RWU Invitational Saturday, Aug. 31. The Rams will face New England College and WestConn in back-to-back battles starting at noon.

The blue-and-gold returns to the Bay State for a midweek match at Dean Wednesday, Sept. 4, which preps Suffolk for its home opener, a tri-match featuring Rutgers Newark and Eastern Connecticut State Saturday, Sept. 7. The outings against the Scarlet Raiders and Warriors will serve as Military Appreciation matches.

Suffolk will spend Saturday, Oct. 12 at Lasell, where it will also play Pratt.
