2025 SUFFOLK WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL ROSTER 

BOSTON – Suffolk women's volleyball's 2025 squad will feature fresh faces as head coach Scott Blanchard recruited nine players to boost the team for the 30th season. 

The group is made up of five true freshmen – Amanda Byron, Lillie Hamilton, Audrey Nadeau, Vicky Serrano and Emmy Thomander – three junior transfers – Mackenzie Heaney (Framingham State), Jordyn Mik (Keene State) and Indira Zegarra Mendoza (Bunker Hil) and senior Delaney More, a three-year letterwinner on the Rams' women's basketball team.  

"Replacing legendary players is a tall task, however, I am quite confident that this year's incoming class is up to it," Blanchard said.  "A couple of them will compete for starting roles right away, the rest will provide much needed depth that we lost due to graduation." 

Blanchard continued, "The addition of transfers Mackenzie Heaney, Jordyn Mik and Indira Zegarra Mendoza will add college playing experience and leadership, and the addition of Delaney More from basketball will also provide college game experience as well as leadership, I wish she was with us two years ago.  All of them will also compete for starting roles."

Suffolk has written and rewritten its own record books over the Blanchard era and is coming off the winningest season in program history with a 23-7 overall record. With the mix of 11 returners and nine newcomers the Rams aim to make more history in 2025; with sights set on the program's first-ever appearance in a conference championship match. The blue-and-gold has reached the semis in two of the last three campaigns. 

The Rams will have to navigate a 27-match regular-season schedule to get there with action set to get underway in tri-match fashion Saturday, Aug. 30 at UMass Dartmouth. Suffolk will first tangle with Ursinus at 12:00 p.m., before clashing with the Corsairs of UMD at 2:00 p.m.
