DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Suffolk women's volleyball was bested by Ursinus, 3-1, Saturday afternoon at the Tripp Athletic Center. The setback came by set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 19-25 and 25-10.

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Sami Shore supplied 10 kills behind a .600 hitting percentage with three blocks and one dig.
- Emmy Thomander recorded six kills, two digs and one block.
- Grace Cervenka added five kills to the attack.
- Aislinn Lanigan logged 15 assists, four digs and three aces.
- Delaney More pitched in seven handouts and four digs.
- Chloe Clement and Kathy Mo registered 13 digs apiece. The former added two aces and one block, while the latter notched two helpers and one ace.
NOTEWORTHY
- Suffolk opened its season at a neutral site for the third straight season, 11th time overall and fifth under Scott Blanchard's leadership.
- The Rams are now 4-5 when playing on a neutral hardwood in the initial outing of the year.
- If the first match has extended longer than three sets, Suffolk moved to 1-2 in four set decisions in match one.
- Suffolk battled Ursinus for the first time in program history.
