Cervenka Collects All-CNE

CNE RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Grace Cervenka of the Suffolk women's volleyball team concluded her collegiate career with an All-Conference of New England (CNE) Third-Team distinction, the league office unveiled Wednesday.

Cerevenka, a captain from Sugar Land, Texas, was a consistent contributor on both sides of the ball to lead Suffolk to an 11-16 overall record and 5-5 CNE ledger. The 6-foot middle blocker provided 1.76 kills, on a .268 connection rate, and 0.67 blocks per set en route to her second all-league recognition, first since 2023.

In addition, the conference handed out the CNE Community Service Team award, presented to a student-athlete on each squad that demonstrates a commitment to their community. Suffolk's representative is Delaney More.

In five seasons in the CNE Suffolk has accumulated 16 awards from the league: one Elite 21 recipient, one libero of the year, five first-team, four second-team and five third-team selections. When combined with Suffolk's accolades from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), the Rams have garnered 36 all-conference nods including one Elite 21 honoree, one libero of the year, nine first-team selections, eight second-team nods and 17 third-team honors. Under Scott Blanchard's guidance, the blue-and-gold has racked up 19 all-conference awards, including the program's only major accolade, 2022 CNE (formerly CCC) Libero of the Year Kenzley Bell
