COLLEGE SPORTS COMMUNICATORS RELEASE

BOSTON – Suffolk women's volleyball saw four student-athletes garner College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors in senior Chloe Clement, junior Emily Norgrove and sophomore Kathy Mo, the national organization unveiled.

Presented by College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) to the most accomplished student-athletes for combined academic and athletic achievements each year since 1952, this is the longest-running and most prestigious academic and athletic award for student-athletes to receive.

All nominees must have a GPA of at least a 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale), be a starter or important reserve, and have competed in at least 90 percent of a team's competition.

Clement picked up her second nod in as many years to be the third Ram in the women's volleyball's program history to have multiple CSC All-District nods joining Jayla Martinez and Morgan Kelsey, who accomplished the feat last season. Nogrove and Mo, meanwhile, are first-time honorees.

With the addition of this year's three selections, Suffolk volleyball now has 14 Academic All-District nods in its records books, all of which have come in the last six seasons under Scott Blanchard's guidance.

The Rams were joined by seven Conference of New England (CNE) institutions including Endicott (4), Gordon (3), Hartford (4), Roger Williams (4), University of New England (1), Wentworth (4), and Western New England (3).

Clement, a biology major that holds a 3.98 grade point average, stepped up as the 5-foot-8 outside hitter paced Suffolk's attack with 1.83 kps. The captain from Lynn, Massachusetts, added 2.78 dps to the defensive unit that helped the blue-and-gold compile an 11-16 campaign.

Norgrove was a crucial cog in the Rams' 9.52 kps with 1.74 kps of her out. The outside hitter supplied 1.01 dps as well as 0.27 bps. In the classroom the Guilderland, New York, native sports a 3.54 grade point average, while working towards her undergraduate law degree.

Mo became the second Ram to scoop up an Academic All-District accolade as a sophomore behind Sami Shore, who did so in 2024. The accolade is behind a season in which the libero that calls Quincy, Massachusetts home led the back line with 3.86 dps. Academically, the marketing major has compiled a 3.51 grade point average.
