BOSTON – Suffolk women's cross country makes the trip up to Hopkinton, New Hampshire Friday, Oct. 11 for the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships. The women's 5k is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. at Hopkinton Fairgrounds.

Suffolk women's cross country turned in a 15th-place performance at the Pre-National Championship Friday night at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at Rose Hulman.

ABOUT NEICAAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
The NEICAAAA promotes men's and women's intercollegiate competition in cross country and track and field among the colleges that are members of the association in New England.
The 110th Annual New England Cross Country Championship and the 18th combined men's and women's NEIAAAC. The first men's championship race was held in 1912, while the women's was first put on in 1975.

Suffolk will return to the site of the 2023 NCAA East Regional Championships, Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, New Hampshire. For a full course map, click here.
COACH'S QUOTE
"We're excited to see our freshmen racing against after three solid weeks of training after Wesleyan (Sept. 21)," head coach Will Feldman said. "It's a great course, and it should be the perfect opportunity for them to trey to set new 5k personal records."
Feldman continued, "This race should provide them with valuable race experience going into conference at the end of the month."

- Sophomore Bailey Ford will be leading the way for the team this week.
- Freshman Taylor Farrell and Gina Cappello should be right on Ford's heels.
