Dorion, Pattelena All-New England

HOPKINTON, N.H. – For the first time in program history, Suffolk women's cross country had multiple earn All-New England from the Division III Cross Country and Track & Field Association in grad student Amalia Dorion and junior Amy Pattelena.

To earn the feat, a student-athlete must obtain a top-20 finish at the NCAA Division III East Regionals. The top-20 finishers apart of a New England program at the Mideast Region also grab the recognition.

A year ago, Pattelena became the second-ever Ram to receive All-New England status from the regional organization, first since Emily Manfra did so in 2019. The junior now joins Manfra with a pair of All-New England nods. The Hollis, New Hampshire's native's second distinction comes after she clocked a 22:34.91 to take 17th in the 224-runner race. That finish was a regional-best for Pattelena.

Dorion, meanwhile, earned her first All-New England recognition after tying a program-best finish of 14th. That place came behind a 6k time of 22:26.60. The last time a Ram took 14th was Manfra in 2019.

Dorion and Pattelena were crucial components to Suffolk's best regional finish in program history with a fifth-place team performance, just two points out of third.

Suffolk's two honorees were the most of any Conference of New England (CNE) program, while Gordon had one student-athlete take home the honor.
