EAST BOSTON – Suffolk men's ice hockey bounced back from its first defeat of the season in convincing fashion has it handled Roger Williams, 7-2 Saturday night in Conference of New England (CNE) play at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink. A dozen Rams contributed points to the offensive onslaught highlighted by Cole Scott's hat trick.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first frame was even as both teams lit the lamp twice to keep things close, 2-2.
- Roger Williams poured in the first goal of the night 55 seconds into the action as Nichols Rooney found the back of the cage thanks to help from Daxton St. Hilarie and Colin Kwak.
- Marko Giourof tied things up 3:04 later as he turned a Nolan Leonard feed into Suffolk's first strike of the night.
- Scott pushed the blue-and-gold front, 2-1, at the 7:26 mark thanks to help from Josh Milso and Leonard.
- St. Hilaire had an answer for the Hawks 1:19 later as he tucked Nick Palmer's pass into the net to lock things at 2-all, which remained at the first intermission.
- The Rams poured in three unanswered in the second stanza to take a lead three-goal, 5-2, lead they never let go of.
- Suffolk kept its skates on the gas pedal in the final frame and tacked on two more tallies for the 7-2 final.

- Austin McNicholas put together a 12-save effort in the victory.
