ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Suffolk men's cross country opened its 2025 season Saturday morning with a 10th-place performance at the Suffolk Short Course Classic at the Mark Coogan Cross Country Course at Highland Park.
The Rams combined for 282 points to take 10th in the 14-team field that was topped by Holy Cross's 26.
RAMS RUNNERS
- Hayden Green was the first blue-and-gold runner to cross the 5k tape as he posted a time of 17:00.96, good for 50th.
- Matthew Ramarge clocked a 17:27.96, good for 65th in the field of 159.
- Sean Jacobsen finished 74th behind a time of 17:41.48.
- Declan Shannon (18:32.45), Sebastian Vickers-Richard (18:39.53), Michael Najarian (20:06.91), Eric Anderson (21:48.69) and Matthew McGoldrick (22:58.02) were featured in the 5k field of 159.
RAMS RECORDS
- Vickers-Richard (18:39.53) and Najarian (20:06.91) both logged personal-best 5ks.
DEBUTS
- Ramarge and Anderson made their collegiate debuts.
NOTEWORTHY
- The Rams hosted their Suffolk Short Course Classic for the fourth time in program history, first since 2023 and first time at Highland Park.
