In its sophomore season, Suffolk women’s hockey had 12 student-athletes recognized for their academic success with spots on the 2019-20 New England Women’s Hockey (NEHC) All-Academic Team, the league office announced Thursday.
Suffolk women’s ice hockey confirmed its place in the NEHC Finals, as the sixth-seeded Rams upstaged the third seed Southern Maine, 2-1, with a third period power play goal Saturday afternoon at USM Ice Arena.
Suffolk women’s hockey came back to force the extra session with five minutes remaining in regulation, but Castleton was the team to strike in OT, to down the Rams, 3-2, Sunday night at Spartan Arena.
