BOSTON – Suffolk women's ice hockey turns its attention to a home-and-home series with Western New England, who is receiving votes in the latest USCHO.com poll. The Rams will visit Springfield, Massachusetts, Thursday, Nov. 20 at 3:00 p.m., before the blue-and-gold hosts the Golden Bears at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink Saturday, Nov. 21 at 4:50 p.m.

Suffolk women's hockey closed a Conference of New England (CNE) home-and-home series with Nichols with a 4-3 victory Saturday at Levy Rink.

RAMS RUNDOWN

  • Suffolk swept the home-and-home with Nichols last weekend with identical 4-3 victories to move to 2-1-1 on the season and in CNE action. 
  • Alexia Hill and Liliana Moose have four points apiece that mirror each other. Hill's stat line features three goals and one assist, while Moose boasts a one-goal, three-handout effort. 
  • Cassie Borowksi (2g, 1a) has pitched in three points to the Rams' 13-goal offense. 
  • Katelyn Michals has played every minute in net and holds a 3.22 GAA and .931 save percentage.  

GOLDEN BEARS GLANCE

  • Western New England suffered its first setback of the season to then-No. 9 Endicott, 3-2, in overtime last Saturday, to move to 5-1-0 on the year and 3-1-0 in CNE play. 
  • Eighteen (18) different players have provided at least one point to the Golden Bears' 20-goal offense led by Maddie Pope (4g, 2a), Jenna Lynch (4g, 2a), Mabel Gerard (3g, 2a) and Kaylin O'Connor (3g, 2a). 
  • Rachel Irving has played all six goals in net for WNE. She holds a 1.81 GAA and .932 save percentage.
