MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Suffolk women's ice hockey was dealt a 7-0 shutout on the road by No. 4 Middlebury on Tuesday evening at Chip Kenyon '85 Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Trinity Walsh and Avery McInerny each scored in the first period to give Middlebury a 2-0 lead.
  • Suffolk held strong in the second period, keeping the Panthers off the board, but Middlebury exploded for five goals in the third to secure a 7-0 victory.

  • Lucy Cantin stopped 36 shots in her first career start.
