BOSTON – Suffolk women's ice hockey opens its Conference of New England (CNE) slate back up with a home-and-home series against Johnson & Wales. The Rams host the Wildcats on Friday, Jan. 23 at 6:00 p.m. in East Boston at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink before heading to Providence for the series finale on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 2:00 p.m.

Suffolk women's ice hockey closed the book on its non-conference slate with the closer of two-game series at No. 15 Plattsburgh State Saturday afternoon at Ronald B. Stafford Ice Arena. The Rams slipped to the nationally ranked Cardinals, 8-3.

• Suffolk heads into the weekend at 5-10-1 and jockeying in the CNE ranks at 5-3-1.

• The Wildcats feature the 20th best penalty-killing units in the nation at 92.2 percent.
• Jordan Hopping leads JWU with eight points (3g, 5a). Kylie O'Keefe follows with five points and two game winners.
• Ashley Bergeron (4a), Cailean Corbally (3g), Sadie Davignon (1g, 2a), and Ava Morgan (1g, 2a) add to the Wildcats scoring depth.
• JWU boasts a goaltending duo of Avery Hall (1.79 GAA, .952 save percentage) and Katelyn Cardoso (1.99 GAA, .934 save percentage).
