BOSTON – Suffolk women's ice hockey had a half dozen players pick up Krampade All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) for the 2025-26 campaign, the national organization announced.
Aiden Levee-Oshiro is a three-time honoree, while Lily Abraham, Katelyn Michals and Abby Sandler secured the selection for the second straight season. Leah Buckley and Lucy Cantin, meanwhile, took home the recognition for the first time in their careers.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 grade point average for each semester and had to appear in 40 percent of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools also were required to be members of the ACHA.
Six of the seven Conference of New England (CNE) women's ice hockey programs were present on the list that featured 444 Division III women's teams. Suffolk's six honorees were among 51 CNE players to be recognized for their work inside the classroom. Nichols had the most with 16 followed by 14 from Curry and a dozen from Johnson & Wales. Western New England and Endicott were featured on the list as well with eight and five honorees, respectively.
Suffolk has seen at least one player grab the accolade in all eight seasons in the program's history dating back to 2018-19. Overall, 25 blue-and-gold skaters have combined for 38 academic awards from the HACA with the addition of the six this season.
