BOSTON – Suffolk women's lacrosse begins its Conference of New England (CNE) slate on Tuesday, March 17 with a road matchup against Curry at 4:00 p.m.

Suffolk women's lacrosse came up just short in a back-and-forth neutral-site contest Saturday afternoon, falling to Ohio Northern, 9-8, in a game that saw two ties and two lead changes in the final quarter.

RAMS RUNDOWN

  • Suffolk enters conference play with a 2-3 overall record following a 1-1 road swing in Texas.
  • Julia Dickinson leads the Rams offense with 22 points on 19 goals and three assists and carries a streak of four straight hat tricks into Tuesday's matchup. 
  • Carley Ehwa ranks second on the team with 18 points (15g, 3a) and has collected seven ground balls.
  • Zoe Peckham sits third on the team in scoring with 12 points (8g, 4a) to go along with eight ground balls.
  • Lauren Woods contributes nine points (5g, 4a) from the midfield.
  • Bridget O'Leary adds eight points (5g, 3a) and leads the team with 14 draw controls. She has also picked up 11 ground balls.
  • Kate Carlson has totaled 12 draw controls and 12 ground balls on the defensive end.
  • Defensively, Gracelyn Laperle and Taylor Joynt share the team lead with 10 caused turnovers. Laperle has added 12 ground balls and Joynt has collected seven.
  • In goal, Charlotte Guziejka has started all five games and owns 38 saves, a .469 save percentage, and an 8.60 goals against average.

COLONEL CATCHUP

  • Curry enters Tuesday's CNE opener with a 2-3 record after falling to Castleton, 9-4, on Saturday.
  • Samantha Sprissler leads the Colonels with 14 goals on the season.
  • Ella Palanza and Grace Grosso lead Curry in points with 18 and 15, respectively. Palanza has totaled 11 goals and seven assists, while Grosso owns nine goals and six assists.
  • Sarah Kelly adds 12 points (10g, 2a) and contributes across the field with 14 ground balls and 11 draw controls.
  • Nicole Michael has produced seven points (5g, 2a) and shares the team lead with 12 draw controls and 12 ground balls.
  • Julia Long, Sarah Joseph, and Ella Palanza pace the team with eight caused turnovers each.
  • Alexa Puopolo has started all five games in net and has made 46 saves with a .479 save percentage and a 10.42 goals against average.

  • Suffolk and Curry have met once in the all-time series, a matchup played March 26, 2025.
