BOSTON – In just its second season, the Suffolk women's lacrosse team will compete in the Conference of New England (CNE) Tournament as the sixth-seeded Rams venture to third-seed Johnson & Wales for First Round action Saturday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Scots Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Suffolk women's lacrosse dropped its final regular-season contest to Conference of New England (CNE) opponent Hartford, 16-6, on the road Wednesday evening.

RAMS RUNDOWN

  • Suffolk enters the CNE Tournament at 8-9 overall and 5-5 in conference play after clinching its first postseason berth in program history.
  • Julia Dickinson paces the Rams offense with a team-high 55 points, fueled by 40 goals and 15 assists, and leads the squad with 11 free-position goals. 
  • Zoe Peckham leads Suffolk in goals with 43 and has added seven assists for 50 total points this season.
  • Bridget O'Leary has produced 50 points on 32 goals and 18 assists, while contributing 37 ground balls, 34 draw controls, and 19 caused turnovers. 
  • Carley Ehwa has been a key scoring option with 51 points behind 39 goals and 12 assists. 
  • Jessie Le directs the attack with a team-best 15 assists and 29 total points (14 goals, 15 assists). 
  • Penelope Lawlor has been dominant on the draw with a team-high 69 draw controls. She also adds 23 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers on the season.
  • The defensive unit is led by Kate Carlson with 49 draw controls, 33 ground balls, and a team-high 23 caused turnovers. 
  • Charlotte Guziejka has started all 17 games in net, totaling 136 saves with a 10.71 goals-against average and an 8-9 record.

WILDCATS WATCH

  • Johnson & Wales closed out the regular season with a 22-9 victory over Nichols, finishing 9-7 overall and 7-3 in CNE play to secure the third seed in the conference tournament. 
  • Riley Shepley leads the Wildcats offense with a team-high 82 points on 55 goals and 27 assists to go with 16 ground balls and seven caused turnovers. 
  • Sidney Mayers has totaled 54 points behind 45 goals and nine assists alongside 27 ground balls, 23 draw controls, and 18 caused turnovers. 
  • Cassie Burke has recorded 42 points with 40 goals and two assists, controls possession with 48 draw controls, and has collected 30 ground balls. 
  • Kelsey Higgins has posted 33 points on 28 goals and five assists to pair with 33 ground balls and 29 draw controls. 
  • Keira Donegan owns a team-best 62 draw controls alongside 14 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. 
  • Alyssa Morrison anchors the defensive unit with a team-high 19 caused turnovers to go with 28 ground balls. 
  • Carley Cook has appeared in 13 games with six starts in goal, posting 54 saves, a 12.49 goals-against average, and a 4-3 record. 
  • Kylie O'Keefe has played in 10 games with seven starts, recording 26 saves, a 10.43 goals-against average, and a 5-1 record.

WE MEET AGAIN
Suffolk women's lacrosse was bested by Conference of New England (CNE) foe Johnson & Wales, 20-9, on Saturday afternoon at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park. The Wildcats used a 10-2 second half surge to pull away with the conference contest.
