BOSTON – Suffolk women's tennis wraps up a season-opening five-match road trip Saturday, Sept. 20 at Nichols. The Conference of New England (CNE) contest is set to start at 12 p.m.

Suffolk women's tennis fell to Endicott, 7-0, in its 2025 Conference of New England (CNE) debut Tuesday afternoon at the South Campus Courts.

RAMS RUNDOWN

  • Suffolk has yet to find the win column this season, 0-4, 0-1 CNE).
  • The Rams lifted the lid on the CNE calendar Tuesday and fell at Endicott, 7-0.
  • The blue-and-gold's top half of the singles ladder has not changed as Thu Nguyen (No. 1), Nia Bebb (No. 2) and Brianna Nelson (No. 3) have held down spots 1-3.
  • Elizabeth Lassner is responsible for the Rams only point this season. The freshman picked up a single's 6-2, 6-4 win on court four at Simmons.
  • Doubles wise, two different tandems have paired up in the first position. Bebb has been an ingredient in both as the junior has partnered up with Nugyen (0-2) and Elene Nishnianidze (0-2).

BISON BREAKDOWN

  • Nichols is undefeated on the year, 3-0, and 1-0 in CNE play with a 6-1 win at Western New England.
  • The top four Bison singles brackets boast a 3-0 record individually in Kamora Helton (No. 1), Charis Vogler (no. 2), Pamela Gonzalez Vallardi (No. 3) and Pamela Gonzalez Vallardi (No. 4).
  • Nichols uses just two doubles pairs in Helton and Gonzalez Valalrdi on court one and Volger and Cara Brosch in the second slot.

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk is 0-5 all-time versus Nichols in a series that dates back to 1994.
  • The Rams have been swept by the Bison in the last three meetings.
