DUDLEY, Mass. – Suffolk women's tennis wrapped up its season-opening five-match road trip with a 6-1 Conference of New England (CNE) setback to Nichols at the Robinson Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Nichols was only able to field a pair of doubles teams, but it was all the Bison needed to put the Rams in a 1-0 hole to start the conference clash. 

Molly Whitfield managed to pick up a point in the sixth singles slot by default, but Nichols rattled off the rest of the singles courts for the 6-1 final.

• Suffolk scored its first point over Nichols since Oct. 6, 2021, an 8-1 Suffolk loss.
