BOSTON – After a year hiatus, the Suffolk Ice Breaker Challenge is back at the Track at New Balance Sunday, Jan. 18. Action is set to commence at 9:30 a.m. and roll throughout the day. Results can be followed live here and spectators wishing to see the meet in person there will be a $10 entrance fee.

Suffolk men's indoor track & field took its talents to the Costello Field House Saturday for the USM Open II to lift the lid on its spring semester schedule.

The Rams saw 10 personal records as Suffolk women's indoor track & field got its second semester underway at the USM Open II Saturday at the Costello Field House.

THE FIELD
Over 20 teams are set to send student-athletes to the Track on Sunday. Joining Suffolk will be American International, Assumption, Colgate, Conn. College, Emmanuel, Fitchburg State, franklin Pierce, Hoy Cross, Johnson & Wales, Lasell, Merrimack, Regis, Sacred Heart, Simmons, Southern New Hampshire, St. Joseph's (Maine), UMass Boston, Utica, Wentworth and Worcester State.
SUFFOLK SCOUT
- Devyn Battistoni will attempt to break her school record in the pole vault after nearly missing the mark last weekend at the UMS Open II.
- Sophia DiNanno and Tess Drury will race the 3k.
- Grace Miller will run the mile.
- Hilma Ortega and Bailey Stoddard-Baughman aim to rewrite their school records in the hurdles.
- Dootchina Dorielan and Kelsie Dessaps go for the program record in the long jump.
- Matthew Ramarge will make his indoor debut in the 3k.
- Mohamed Mehaya will look to break Cole Bolduc's long standing 400m record of 50.78, which was set Feb. 13, 2022 at the GNAC Championship.
- Michael Nossek will race the 60m with e goal of cracking the top 20 in the country.
- The men's 4x400 will attempt to break the school record.
SUFFOLK'S SCHEDULE
The Gordon Kelly Invite is set for next Saturday, Jan. 24 at MIT's Johnson Athletic Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
