Outdoor Track & Field Chases CCC Championship this Week
Suffolk women’s outdoor track & field team scooped up a pair of weekly awards from the Commonwealth Coast Conference for the second time in as many weeks as Sydney Fogg was named CCC Track Athlete of the Week and the Rams’ 4x100 Relay Team of JJ Conteh, Hilma Ortega, Emily Concepcion and Amanda Walden repeated as CCC Relay Team of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
Suffolk women’s outdoor track & field competed for the final time before the 2024 Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships over the weekend at MIT’s Sean Collier Invitational. Nine Rams rewrote their personal records, one program record fell and one clinched her spot at NCAA Division III New England regionals at the Henry G. Stein Brenner Track.
Suffolk women’s track & field took home weekly recognition from the Commonwealth Coast Conference as Sharaden Caldwell was named CCC Field Rookie of the Weekly, while the Rams foursome of JJ Conteh, Hilma Ortega, Emily Concepcion and Amanda Walden garnered Relay Team of the Week distinction.

Suffolk women’s outdoor track & field started 2024 on a high note at the UMass Lowell Invitational Saturday at the Cushing Field Complex. Seven Rams finished in the top 10 with a pair of podium finishes and three personal records rewritten.
Suffolk men’s and women’s outdoor track & field has two events on its weekend docket – the Tufts Snowflake Classic and the UMass Lowell Invitational. Both meets are scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m.
