BOSTON – Suffolk women's volleyball has a full-day of action in store Saturday, Sept. 13 as a pair of of 2024 NCAA Division III Tournament qualifiers in Maine Maritime and Bridgewater State stop by Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. Action opens with the blue-and-gold against the Mariners at 11 a.m. with the Rams and Bears set to square off at 3 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's volleyball collected its second victory of the season and in as many games with a 3-1 triumph over Salem State Thursday night at Tim Shea Court inside Twohig Gymnasium. The triumph came by set scores 25-19, 25-16, 19-25 and 25-17.

RAMS RUNDOWN

• Suffolk has coupled back-to-back wins together with a sweep of Mass. Maritime and 3-1 decision at Salem State. 
• Chloe Clement has been an all-around leader with a team-best 1.86 kps and 2.19 dps, good for third on the squad. 
• Sami Shore and Jordyn Mik add 1.53 kps and 1.40 kps, respectively, to the Rams' 8.71 kps offense that is set up primarily by Aislinn Lanigan's 4.57 aps. 
• Kathy Mo paces the back line with 3.95 dps and is the blue-and-gold's biggest serving threat with 0.62 aces per set. 
• Mackenzie Heaney provides 2.29 dps to the defense that receives 0.65 bps from Sami Shore and 0.50 bps by Emmy Thomander. 
• Clement and Lanigan add depth at the serve with 0.43 aces per set each.  

MARINERS MENTIONABLES

• Maine Maritime carries a .500 (3-3) record to Title Town. 
• The Marines opened their season with three consecutive wins and have most recently fell in their last three contests.
• Offensively, Sydney Williams (2.95 kps) and Ally Hadley (2.42 kps) lead the 9.37 kps with over 2.00 kps each.
• Hunnie Zuber-Stephens organizes the attack with 7.63 assists per set and is the lead's best serve with 1.00 aces per set. 
• On the defensive side, Hannah Tate provides a team-high dps. Hadley has 2.21 dps to her credit, Williams adds 2.16 dps. 
• At the net, Williams, Ila Smith and Sophia Biggie all average 0.42 bps.  

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Suffolk and Maine Maritime will meet for the second-time in program history, first since Sept. 11, 2004. 
• The Rams were swept by the Mariners in the first-ever and only meeting, Sept. 11, 2004, which took place on a neutral hardwood. three

BEARS BREAKDOWN

• Bridgewater State is 4-1 on the year. 
• The Bears have sandwiched two wins around a straight set setback at Smith Sept. 6. 
• BSU's victories have come over Keene State (3-2), Vermont State Lyndon (3-0), Curry (3-0) and Rhode Island College (3-1). 
• Bridgewater State's 10.44 kps attack receives over 2.00 kps apiece from Lily Welch (2.72), Ava Crane (2.19) and Kim Gowell (2.00). 
• Xin Ai Robinson and Natalie Fredriksen split time as the Bears' setter with 4.44 assists and 3.17 handouts per set, respectively. 
• Charlotte Sullivan has proven to be a force at the service line with 1.06 aces per set. 
• Defensively, Crane contributes 3.25 dps to pace that pack. Moriah Baptista (2.83 dps) and Welch (2.78 dps) add depth to the back line and Megahn Coutu (0.67 bps) leads the way at the net. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Suffolk and Bridgewater State are set to meet for the eighth time Saturday, first since Sept. 10, 2015. 
• The Rams are 0-7 all-time against BSU. 
• The series has been split up with a pair of home (0-2) and road (0-2) bouts, respectively, and three neutral site contests. 
• The Rams will welcome Bridgewater State to Beantown for the first time since Oct. 29, 2014.
