BOSTON –Suffolk women's volleyball will make the short trip west to face Framingham State in non-conference action Tuesday, Sept 16. First serve inside the Athletic & Recreation Center is set for 6:00 p.m.

Suffolk women's volleyball fell in straight sets in a home tri-match to both Maine Maritime and Bridgewater StateSaturday afternoon at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

SUFFOLK RAMS RUNDOWN 

  • Suffolk enters the week at 2-6 overall after dropping both matches this past weekend. 
  • Chloe Clement has been reliable on the outside, combining for 1.78 kps with a strong defensive presence, ranking second on the team with 2.23 dps. 
  • Sami Shore adds 1.53 kps behind a .333 hitting percentage from the middle to go along 0.65 bps.
  • Grace Cervenka follows with 1.44 kps and half a block per set (0.50)
  • The attack runs primarily through Aislinn Lanigan, who distributes 4.67 aps and 0.41 services aces per frame. 
  • On the defensive side, Kathy Mo serves as the anchor in the libero spot, racking up 3.93 dps and leading the team in serving at 0.56 aces per set.  

FRAMINGHAM RAMS REPORT 

  • Framingham State enters at 5-2, following straight set victories over Norwich and Husson on Saturday. 
  • Natalie Reynolds headlines the offense, racking up 3.88 kps at an efficient 3.56 hitting percentage. The middle hitter also contributes to the defense with 0.48 bps. 
  • Jaimee Lowe adds another scoring punch on the outside, producing 2.42 kps and 2.62 dps to the defensive unit. 
  • Stella Bailey runs the offense, dishing out 9.00 aps. 
  • The defensive backline is led by Kristina Santiago-Alers and Carly Beaulieu who average 4.58 dps and 3.38 dps, respectively. 

INSIDE THE SERIES 

  • Tuesday marks the 19th meeting between Suffolk and Framingham State.
  • The Rams trail the series 4-14.  
  • Suffolk has won back-to-back matchups, including a 3-2 home victory a year ago, Sept. 17, 2024 and a 3-0 road win Sept. 28, 2023. 
  • The Boston Rams look to make It three straight over the Framingham Rams for the first time in series history.
