BOSTON – Suffolk women's volleyball returns to Conference of New England (CNE) play this weekend with a road tri-match hosted by Nichols in Dudley, Massachusetts. The Rams open the day against the Bison at 11:00 a.m. before facing non-conference opponent MCLA at 1:00 p.m.

Suffolk women's volleyball came up short in straight sets against Brandeis on Wednesday night at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. The Rams were defeated by set scores of 25-11, 25-19, and 25-19.

RAMS RUNDOWN
- Suffolk enters the weekend at 7-14 overall and 2-3 in CNE play, looking to snap a three-match skid.
- Grace Cervenka leads the attack with 1.86 kills per set (kps) and a .262 hitting percentage, while Chloe Clement (1.81 kps) and Emily Norgrove (1.68 kps) round out the balanced offense up front.
- Aislinn Lanigan runs the show offensively, averaging 6.42 assists per set.
- On the defensive end, Kathy Mo paces the team at 4.28 digs per set (dps), followed by Vicky Serrano with 1.95 dps.
- Emmy Thomander adds sizeable two way help with 0.56 blocks per set (bps) to go with 1.65 kps.
BISON BREAKDOWN
- Nichols sits at 6-14 following a midweek 3-0 setback to UMass Boston.
- Alyssa Morse leads the Bison with 2.37 kps, while outside hitter Kya Burdier (1.80 kps) and Maille Ianniruberto (1.17 kps) provide secondary scoring.
- Ruby St. Onge anchors the setting duties with 4.45 assists per frame and is supported by Brooke Partidge at 2.24 aps.
- Elizabeth Mullen is a key presence on the backline as she averages 3.94 dps.

- The Suffolk, Nichols series began in 2021.
- Suffolk has won three matches in a row versus Nichols to hold a 3-1 lead in the all-time series.
