THE FIELD
The field is one of the toughest Suffolk will face this season with the nationally ranked foes of No. 11 Amherst, No. 27 Tufts and No. 22 Vassar. Also in attendance are regionally ranked No. 7 Wellesley, No. 8 Smith, No. 10 Endicott and No. 10 Wesleyan. Union and New Haven will be in the mix as well.

THE DISTANCE
Suffolk will run a 6k for the first time this season.

COACH'S QUOTE
"We're looking forward to compete at Wesleyan this week," head coach Will Feldman said. "It will be the first time racing there for all of us. The meet itself will be one of the smallest of the season in terms of number of teams competing, but it will be extremely competitive. The goal is for this meet to be an excellent opportunity to prepare for Pre-Nationals in two weeks."

Feldman continued, "If we have a perfect day, we're capable of a fourth place finish just behind three nationally ranked teams."

"This will also be our only time competing against Endicott prior to the Conference of New England (CNE) Championships," Feldman said. "Endicott will be our primary rival this season and we would like to leave this weekend knowing we can defend our championship."

RAMS TO WATCH

  • At least five of the Rams top six women will be competing in Connecticut.
  • Paige Estaphan will be making her season debut.
  • Amy Pattelena will be a game-time decision after recovering from illness last week.

REGIONAL RANK
