WESTFIELD, Mass. – Suffolk women's cross country was represented by a foursome at the 29th James Early Invitational at Stanley Park Saturday.
Junior Maria Gallant paced the Rams pack in the 167-runner field as she came through the finisher's chute in a personal-best 23:47.86 to take 114th. Gallant's classmate Jaenelle Bryant was two spots behind her with a time of 24:03.45.
Freshman Kaitlyn Cullen clocked a 24:43.62 to place 128th in her first collegiate 5k and sophomore Katarina Ferreira rounded out the Rams on the course with a 26:49.26 showing, good for 148th.
The group was the first set of Rams to race at the annual meet in Westfield since 2014.
Suffolk's sights are now on the 2025 Conference of New England Championship, which is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1 at Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts.
