CANTON, Mass. – Suffolk men's ice hockey saw its 11-game unbeaten streak come to an end Saturday afternoon as Conference of New England (CNE) counterpart Curry defeated the Rams, 4-1, in the regular season finale at the Canton Ice House.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A pair of power play goals for Curry sent Suffolk into the first intermission down 2-0.
- The Colonels lengthened the lead 6:27 into the middle period and the Rams eliminated the shutout 2:38 later. Jake Grace buried a slap shot from the blue line with help from Gavin Havins and Joe O'Brien to trim the deficit back to two, 3-1.
- Curry added an insurance tally in the third as Killian Rowlee converted a short-hander 3:51 into the period to restore the 3-goal gap, which proved too large for Suffolk to make up.
NETMINDER NOTES
- Austin McNicholas took the loss despite a 23-save effort.
- Thomas Heaney registered 32 saves in the victory for Curry.
