BOSTON – Suffolk women's golf will be headed to Western Massachusetts Sunday, Sept. 14 as the Rams are set to compete at the Westfield State Invite at the Tekoa Country Club.

LAST TIME OUT
 Suffolk women's golf opened its 2025-26 season with a second-place performance at the Hartford Hawks Women's Invitational at the Keney Park Golf Course.

THE COMPETITION
 Suffolk will be joined by its Conference of New England (CNE) counterparts Gordon and Nichols with the host Westfield State, Albertus Magnus and Keene State rounding out the six-team field. 

THE COURSE
Tekoa Country Club is a 5,597-yard, par-71 course off the gold tees. 

SUFFOLK AT THE TEKOA COUNTRY CLUB

  • The Rams will compete at the Tekoa Country Club for the sixth time in program history, first since Oct. 1, 2023. 
  • Suffolk has won all five events it has competed in at the Tekoa Country Club, which have consisted of four 18-hole tournaments and one two-day, 36-hole event. 
  • The lowest 18-hole team card by Suffolk at the Tekoa Country Club was a 323 in its last outing at the course, the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) Fall Invitational, Oct. 1, 2023. 
  • Individually, Ellie Yarbrough shot a Tekoa Country Club program-low 77 at the NWGC Fall Invitational, Oct. 1, 2023.
  • Brooke Bugajewski is the only current Ram to compete at the Tekoa Country Club. She has two outings on the course under her belt, the NWGC Fall Classic, Sept. 30, 2023 and the NWGC Fall Invitational, Oct. 1, 2023. She shot an 87 the first time she played at Tekoa CC and shaved five strokes off that performance the next day/event.

SUFFOLK'S SCHEDULE
 The Rams will rest up for the Hartford Tri-Match that is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Wintonbury Hill Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
