BOSTON – The Suffolk women's soccer team rides its two-game win streak across to UMass. Boston Wednesday, Oct. 1, where the Rams will wrap up their non-conference calendar at 7 p.m. against the Beacons.

Suffolk women's soccer used six different goal scorers and a two-save performance from Arden Rose to pick up a 6-0 Conference of New England (CNE) victory over Curry Saturday afternoon at RamFest at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.  

Of the six student-athletes to net a goal, four were members of Suffolk's Class of 2026 in Lily GoldmannMolly KnightElla Marmash and Daniela Petronio. That foursome along with their classmates Alyssa Belmont and Annabel Veale were recognized in a pre-game ceremony for Senior Day.

RAMS RUNDOWN

  • Suffolk enters at 6-1-2 on the year.
  • The Rams defense has limited foes to three goals this season thanks in large part to the keeper duo of Arden Rose and Jaiden Wilds. Rose holds a .920 save percentage in seven appearances and has earned a 0.32 goals against average. Wilds has provided additional depth in goal with a 0.35 goals against average and eight saves in three appearances.
  • Offensively Daniela Petronio headlines the Suffolk attack with four goals and two assists for 10 points. Lily Goldmann has totaled seven points with three strikes and one helper. Isa Peraza and Avery Porter boast identical two-goal, one-assist stat lines.

BEACON BREAKDOWN

  • UMass Boston enters the contest at 4-3-2 coming of a 1-1 draw against Keene State this past Saturday.
  • Sofia Schallmo generates most of the offense for the Beacons as she stands at 15 points with six goals and three assists.
  • Callie Eaton and Ashley Palmer have added one goal and one assist each.
  • Janiya Matier has logged every minute in net for UMass Boston, representing 1.11 goals against average and a .815 save percentage in nine games.
