BOSTON – Suffolk men's and women's outdoor track & field will divide and conquer this weekend with a group flying to Williamsburg, Virigina for William and Mary's 60th Colonial Relays at Walter J. Sable Stadium, while another set stays in the Bay State for Fitchburg State's Jim Sheehan Invite.

Suffolk men's outdoor track & field kicked off the 2026 campaign at the D'Armour Invitational, hosted by UMass Lowell at the Cushing Field Complex on Friday.

THE COLONIAL RELAYS FIELD
The 60th Colonial Relays will be one of the largest outdoor events Suffolk will compete at this spring with over 1,000 athletes from 30-plus teams participating.
SUFFOLK'S SCOUT [ COLONIAL RELAYS ]
- Just over 20 Rams will head to Virigina this weekend.
- Suffolk's sprinters will be Michael Nossek (100, 200) Will Manix (200, 400), Emmett St. Pierre (200, 400), Mohamed Mehaya (400), JJ Conteh (100, 200), Hilma Ortega (100), Rhoni Johnson (100, 200) and Kaylie Groom (200, 400).
- Hurdlers Tighe Hosman (110, 400), Connor Johnson (400), Hilma Ortega (100), Bailey Stoddard-Baughman (100) and Averie Denelle (100) are set for their respective events.
- Katelyn Porter and Cassandra Silkoff are prepped for to make two laps around the track in the 800.
- Chloe Koo is scheduled to run the 1500 on the women's side, while Sean Jacobsen is in the men's heat.
- Jacobsen will be joined by Hayden Green and Matthew Ramarge in the 5000 with Grace Miller entered in the women's 5000 along with the 3000 steeplechase.
- Tess Drury rounds out the Rams' long distance squad in the 10,000.
- Jumpers Mohamed Mehaya (long jump), Connor Johnson (long jump), Averie Denelle (high jump), Bailey Stoddard-Baughman (long jump) and Kelsie Dessaps (long jump) will split between two events.
- Both the men and women will be featured in relays as well.
RAMS RUNDOWN [ JIM SHEEHAN INVITE ]
- Suffolk will ship 27 student-athletes to Fitchburg, Massachusetts Saturday.
- Sprinters wise Aida Bellal (100, 200), Olivia Coyne (100, 200), Dootchina Dorielan (100), Charlie Billard (100, 200), Marco Gomez (100, 200), Cormac O'Brien (100, 200, 400), Brendan Eddy (100, 200), Eddie Hindle (100), and Nico Carrillo (200) will lace up in their spikes.
- Long distance wise, the group of Megan Dunn, Kaitlyn Cullen, Katarina Ferreira, Maria Gallant, Jack Marston, Declan Shannon, Eric Anderson and Michael Najarian will run the 1500. Gallant, Ferreira, Cullen, Najarian and Anderson will
- George Mirogiannis (javelin, hammer), Hannah Laderoute (javelin, hammer, discus), Abby MacMillan (javelin, discus), Connor Brown (hammer, shot put) and Divinety Johnson (discus) will represent the Rams in the fielding events.
- In the jumping events Dootchina Dorielan (long jump), Evelyn Lansing will try their hands in the long jump, while Joshua Catino, Nico Carrillo, Olivia Coyne and Evelyne Smith are set for the pole vault.
SUFFOLK'S SCHEDULE
The Rams will combine forces next weekend, April 10-11, to compete at the Silfen Invite in New London, Connecticut.
