EAST BOSTON – Suffolk women's ice hockey's 2025-26 season debut was spoiled by Curry as the Colonels took the Rams down in Conference of New England (CNE) action, 6-3, Friday night at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Curry sandwiched goals around a Suffolk strike, which was produced by Cassie Borowski, in the first period to send the Rams into the locker room down one, 2-1.
- Laurel Potter leveled the playing field at 2-all 5:57 into the middle period as she struck with help from Aiden Levee-Oshiro and Tali Stein-Trujilo.
- The score stayed locked at the second intermission.
- The Colonels climbed ahead 4-2 as the poured in two unanswered in the first 4:07 into the third period.
- Less than a minute later, Alexia Hill potted a power play puck to trim the deficit down to one. The sophomore was set-up by Liliana Moose and Jenna Caballero.
- That's as close as the blue-and-gold would get as Curry closed the scoring with another pair of strikes for the 6-3 final.

- Katelyn Michals recorded 34 saves.
- Coriann Hoag logged 27 stops.

- Borowski, Hill and Potter scored one goal apiece for Suffolk.
