BOSTON – Suffolk women's soccer is set to play at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park for the first time in 2025 Tuesday, Sept. 9, when the Rams host Rivier in non-conference action. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. under the lights.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's soccer and its Beantown neighbor Emerson battled back-and-forth Saturday afternoon at Rotch Field. Neither the Rams nor the Lions managed to find the back of the twin over the 90-minute regulation showdown, which ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

RAMS RUNDOWN

  • Suffolk stands at 2-0-1 overall following three straight shutouts to begin the 2025 campaign.
  • Suffolk has not conceded a goal through 270 minutes of play, marking the second year in a row it has gone its first three games without allowing a score.
  • Vivienne Murphy and Lily Goldmann lead Suffolk offensively with one goal apiece, while Annabel Veale and Gianna Maina have supplied one assist each.
  • Goalkeepers Jaiden Wilds and Arden Rose have each provided clean sheets. Wilds stopped three shots in the opener at RPI, while Rose has played 180 minutes across two starts, making 10 saves and posting back-to-back shutouts.

RAIDERS REPORT

  • Rivier enters Tuesday's clash at 1-2-1 after earning its first win of the season last Saturday, a 3-2 decision over Regis.
  • Bailey Gatchell paces the Raiders' attack with four goals and two assists for 10 points.
  • Leah Morrier (2g, 3a) and Samantha Franks (1g, 3a provide an additional playmaking punch in the midfield.
  • The Raiders have spread the scoring around with six different goal scorers through four games.
  • In net, Bri Nugent and Olivia Rosario have split time. Nugent owns a 1.33 goals-against average and .833 save percentage with 10 stops in two appearances, while Rosario has logged 17 saves across three games.

Following Rammy's Fun Run, the family friendly fan fest festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. An afternoon of community, entertainment and school spirit is in store. Event highlights include: 

  • A variety of food trucks with local favorites
  • Live performances by Suffolk University's house band The Common
  • Men's and Women's Soccer Games – support the Rams on their Senior Days! 
  • Cornhole Tournament – register with a teammate to or get paired day-of 
  • Axe Throwing and Gladiator Joust for some friendly competition
  • Yard games and airbrush pennants to round out the fun

Tickets are required to participate in RamFest and grants you access to food trucks and activities at the fields throughout the afternoon.
